Realm Runner is an endless hypercasual RPG mobile game in which you control a character, collect gear, kill enemies, level up and defeat bosses.
The goal with this game was to create an RPG while leaning on the popular runner genre and making it as casual and accessible as possible. The result is a fun and slightly strategic but overall lightweight game you can play anytime. Thanks to no loading screens, no interruptions, no menus and not even a splash screen or start button, the game is quick to start, quick to understand and quick to close.
Progress is saved automatically and you can just pick up where you left off. Open the game and your current stage immediately starts and you are in the game.
Currently, there are 8 different zones, over 80 different items, over 20 different enemies with animations, 12 music tracks that are synchronized with your gameplay and many more features like a UI-less shop, rewarded ads and a clever stat and balancing system.
The game has been developed within a span of 7 months. I originally planned to release it much sooner and have this game completed after only 2 months, but some things got in the way and I couldn’t find the time to finish it. It probably sat at 95% done for 80% of the time and I just couldn’t get to polishing and releasing it, but now I did.
You can find and try the game here: Google Play: Realm Runner
It is free and only contains rewarded ads, you get full control over your data.
Thank you for playing.
